【摘要】:Thismethodisusedtodeterminethestretchandgrowthpropertieswhichagarmentmadeofthefabricmaybeexpectedtoexhibitduringuse.Thisisanewmethodandthereforethehistoryofdataisverysmall,howevertheexcellentagreementofbetween-laboratorydatasuggestthismethodmaybeconsideredforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipments.5.2.1Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,samplesusedforsuchcomparativetestsshouldbeashomogeneousaspossible,drawnfromthesamelotofmaterialasthesamplesthatresultedindisparateresultsduringinitialtesting,andrandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratory.Otherfabricswithestablishedtestvaluesmayalsobeusedforthesecomparativetests.Thetestresultsfromthelaboratoriesinvolvedshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifbiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheamountoffabricstretchandfabricgrowthafteraspecifiedextensionandheldforaspecifiedtime.1.2Whilethismethodcanbeusedforanyfabric,knitfabricshavinghighstretcharebettermeasuredbytestmethodD2594.1.3Thistestmethodshouldnotbeusedtomeasurethebreakingstrengthandelongationofwovenfabrics,whichiscoveredinTestMethodsD5034andD5035.1.4ThevalueslistedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninparentheses.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewithspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
