【摘要】:ThispartofPAS5308specifiesrequirementsforanddimensionsofpolyethylene(PE)insulatedcontrolandinstrumentationcablesinmultipairconstruction,withorwithoutscreens,andoptionallyincorporatingaleadsheathandsinglewirearmour.Itcategorizescablesinto:a)type1:PEinsulatedandPVCsheathed;b)type2:PEinsulated,PEbedded,singlewirearmouredandPVCoversheathed;andc)type3:PEinsulated,PVCbedded,leadalloysheathed,singlewirearmouredandPVCoversheathed.Thecablesaresuitableforoperationatvoltagesuptoandincluding300Vr.m.s.coretoearthand500Vr.m.s.coretocore(i.e.300/500V).Thesecablesarenotprimarilyintendedfordirectconnectiontoalowimpedancesource,suchasthepublicelectricitysupply.
