【摘要】:Thistestmethodevaluatesthepreheat,idle,andholdingenergyconsumptionandtemperatureuniformityofdrawerwarmers.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectadrawerwarmerandunderstanditsenergyperformanceandtemperatureuniformity.Adrawerwarmerisdescribedasacommercialkitchenappliancethatconsistsofoneormoreheateddrawersandwhichisusedtoholdhotfood(usuallynogreaterthan200?F)thathasbeencookedinaseparateappliance,ataspecifiedtemperature.Thistestmethodisapplicabletofreestandingandbuilt-inelectricdrawerwarmersequippedfor:Industry-standard12x20x6-in.(nominalsize)pans,orStandard-oversized15x20x5-in.(nominalsize)pans.Thedrawerwarmercanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing(whereapplicable):Energyinputrate(10.2),Energyconsumptionrateatmaximumsetting(10.2),Temperaturecalibration(10.3),Preheatenergyconsumptionandtime(10.4),Idleenergyrate(10.5),Holdingenergyrate(10.6),andTemperatureuniformity(10.6).Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
