【摘要】:ThefollowingStandardappliestosteelstacks;thatis,thosestackswheretheprimarysupportingshellismadeofsteel.Itappliestobothsingle-andmultiple-walledsteelstacks,eitherofwhichcanbelinedorunlined.Italsoappliestosteelstacksthatareguyed,ortocertainaspectsoftowerstacks.Thestackmaybesupportedonafoundationorfromanotherstructure.ThisStandardcoversmanyfacetsofthedesignofsteelstacks.Itoutlinestheconsiderationwhichmustbemadeforboththemechanicalandstructuraldesign.Itemphasizeswhatconsiderationmustbetakenforwind-andseismic-inducedvibrations.Itgivesguidelinesfortheselectionofmaterial,linings,andcoatings.Itgivestherequirementsforlightingandlightningprotectionbaseduponexistingbuildingandfederalcodes.ItgivestherequirementsforclimbingandaccessbaseduponcurrentOccupationalSafetyandHealthAdministration(OSHA)standards.Itemphasizestheimportantareasregardingfabricationandconstruction.Itoutlinesareasrequiringmaintenanceandinspectionfollowinginitialoperation.Althoughmanyofthetopicswithintheseguidelinesmaybeusedforallstacks,thisStandardisintendedtoprovidedesignguidelinesforstackscontainingnonflammablegasessuchascombustionexhaustgasesatlowinternalpressures.Forstackscontainingcombustiblegasesunderpressuresuchasflarestacksandflammablevents,additionaldesignconsiderationsmustbeaddressed,includingdesignforinternalpressure,designforinternaldeflagrationpressure,andcompatibilitywithadjoiningpipingdesignthatisinaccordancewithpipingand/orvesseldesigncodessuchasASMEB31.3andSectionVIIIoftheASMEBoilerandPressureVesselCode.Inaddition,thematerialsofconstructionreferencedinthisStandardmaynotbeallowedforusewithflammablegasesunderpressureperASMEB31.3andSectionVIIIoftheASMEBPVC;materialssuitableforpressurecontainmentofflammablegasesarelistedinthesecodes.NoattemptismadewithinthisStandardtodefinetheneedorthemethodstobeusedtoconsidertheseadditionaldesignconsiderations.

【摘要】:ThefollowingStandardappliestosteelstacks;thatis,thosestackswheretheprimarysupportingshellismadeofsteel.Itappliestobothsingle-andmultiple-walledsteelstacks,eitherofwhichcanbelinedorunlined.Italsoappliestosteelstacksthatareguyed,ortocertainaspectsoftowerstacks.Thestackmaybesupportedonafoundationorfromanotherstructure.ThisStandardcoversmanyfacetsofthedesignofsteelstacks.Itoutlinestheconsiderationwhichmustbemadeforboththemechanicalandstructuraldesign.Itemphasizeswhatconsiderationmustbetakenforwind-andseismic-inducedvibrations.Itgivesguidelinesfortheselectionofmaterial,linings,andcoatings.Itgivestherequirementsforlightingandlightningprotectionbaseduponexistingbuildingandfederalcodes.ItgivestherequirementsforclimbingandaccessbaseduponcurrentOccupationalSafetyandHealthAdministration(OSHA)standards.Itemphasizestheimportantareasregardingfabricationandconstruction.Itoutlinesareasrequiringmaintenanceandinspectionfollowinginitialoperation.Althoughmanyofthetopicswithintheseguidelinesmaybeusedforallstacks,thisStandardisintendedtoprovidedesignguidelinesforstackscontainingnonflammablegasessuchascombustionexhaustgasesatlowinternalpressures.Forstackscontainingcombustiblegasesunderpressuresuchasflarestacksandflammablevents,additionaldesignconsiderationsmustbeaddressed,includingdesignforinternalpressure,designforinternaldeflagrationpressure,andcompatibilitywithadjoiningpipingdesignthatisinaccordancewithpipingand/orvesseldesigncodessuchasASMEB31.3andSectionVIIIoftheASMEBoilerandPressureVesselCode.Inaddition,thematerialsofconstructionreferencedinthisStandardmaynotbeallowedforusewithflammablegasesunderpressureperASMEB31.3andSectionVIIIoftheASMEBPVC;materialssuitableforpressurecontainmentofflammablegasesarelistedinthesecodes.NoattemptismadewithinthisStandardtodefinetheneedorthemethodstobeusedtoconsidertheseadditionaldesignconsiderations.
